JETS JOURNAL - #109
November 25, 2025
Hi All!
Here is your weekly round up of what I’m pondering and exploring. Feel free to forward along to a friend if you think they might enjoy.
Taking stock
I spent the weekend taking stock of everything I own and putting it into a spreadsheet. It might sound overkill but it’s helped me declutter my belongings and create more order in my life.
My reason for doing so is because I believe chaos is the natural state of the universe. For example, think about what would happen to your home if you never cleaned up, or what would happen to your hair if you never cut it, or better yet what would happen to your body if you never exercised.
As your probably imagining, things would get messy. This is because it takes effort to create order in the chaos. And as much as I don’t want to take stock of not only my belongings, my bank account or my life. It’s the only way to become a better steward of what I’ve been gifted.
I’m sure a few people can relate but I used to be scared to check my bank account. I would ignore my transactions and my statements acting as if that changed my balances. However, it isn’t until I looked my reality in the eye, no matter how ugly it was, took accountability that I could start taking the next steps to get better.
It’s not that difficult, you just have to be able to look at all the shit you’ve accumulated over the years and take ownership.
First acting gig
The video I acted in got released last week.
Take a look below.
Had a few people mention I should do more of this, what do you think?
Also if you’re in Sydney on December 6th you should definitely come to my friends runway show.

Oneshotted by the algorithm
It’s genuinely scary how an algorithm can slowly shape your perception without you even knowing. All it takes is one stray video to catch you at an emotional time in your life to peak your interest and then start sending you out more of what you just saw.
If you’re not mindful in your online consumption your entire feed can quickly mutate into woman hating, man bashing or even conspiratorial pedophiles run the world content. It doesn’t take much until your feed is flooded with what it knows you’re going to watch.
This is why I’ve turned off recommendations on YouTube and try limit my time scrolling on Instagram. Because I even saw it happen in my own feed. I’d watch one video with some bullshit title saying this is a sign from the universe, and then suddenly my whole feed were people trying to tell me how my life was about to unfold. Like fuck off cunt, don’t tell me how my life will be.
A similar thing happened when I was straight out of high school and wasn’t having any luck with girls. I watched one video on masculinity and then all of a sudden my entire feed is flooded with red pill creators pushing their agenda down my throat and I’m shaving my head bald at nineteen. Like what the actual fuck lmao. It really is a slippery slope if you’re not mindful.
Take a look at the video below on social media ruining perfectly fine relationships, all because a partners view started being warped by the videos they were watching.
Please don’t get oneshotted by the algorithm.
The Small Web
The Small Web is a quiet resistance to big techs algorithmically driven, uncustomizable, inhumane online social experience. It’s real people building their own digital plots of land in the form of a personal website or blog.
Here, in The Small Web, or Indie Web as some refer to it, people don’t compete for attention and instead quietly tend to their digital garden, sharing only what genuinely compels them, not what they think will generate attention or a brand deal.
This is why I enjoy browsing the personal websites of strangers I’ve discovered online versus getting random, attention grabbing, mind numbing, mr beastified slop, vomited on my digital platter. It’s much quieter on The Small Web and you can actually hear people talk. Like genuinely, you can hear them and feel like there’s a real human being on the other side of the screen.
So to get you started on your Small Web journey, if you’re interested of course, here’s a few of my favourite websites I’ve managed to find. Feel free to browse them, click through links, read blog posts, and bounce to other sites on the list. There’s no one way to be a part of, or participate in The Small Web. It’s like a choose your own adventure book where you get to experience the joy of discovery on the internet for the first time again.
Also, I’d recommend you browse the websites below via a computer for the best experience.
